Hello and welcome! My Crate Motor is a husband & wife team dedicated to the street rod and hot rod community. The love of hot rod’s & muscle power has been in the family for over 60 years. With the inspiration taken from the life & loss of a beloved family member & friend, My Crate Motor was born.
Being the enthusiast that he was, when he spoke of his dream of owning a hot rod, you could feel, hear & smell the passion & the power. The longing for the good old days may well have been one of the reasons why we became street rodders. The good old days generate many fond memories for all of us. We have heard many people predicting the demise of the street rods, hot rods and custom cars for many years. The truth is that while some of the long time members of our hobby may have found other interests, newer and even more enthusiastic participants have replaced them. The definition of a street rod still remains the same, but the hobby itself has grown to include newer models that are built in the same fashion.
This is our mission. To bring together the enthusiast's & their families & share the exciting energy that fills you’re every sense as you build & bond the past with the present. We invite you to Join us with your fond memories & dreams & share your stories in our blog, "The Rumble Seat".
